Quintessential fall weekend

This past weekend, we took the kids to Leeds Farm near Ostrander, OH and spent a few hours at the Columbus Zoo for Boo at the Zoo. The kids wore their costumes but they were the only ones! The Boo at the Zoo festivities didn’t start until 5 p.m. and we went during the early afternoon. It worked out well because no one was there so there was no wait for camel rides in the Heart of Africa and we got up close when they fed the lions.

These kids do not miss a chance to have kettle corn.

And the next day, a trip to the Zoo…

The kids rode “Goober” the camel while dressed in their Halloween costumes. $7 per kid. Magnus is dressed as The Flash and Greta, my angel, wanted to be a devil.
